Republican Donald Trump is running for president for a third time. Here's what you need to know about him.
This wasn’t the only time Kelly felt compelled to instruct Trump on military history. In 2018, Trump asked Kelly to explain who “the good guys” were in World War I. Kelly responded by explaining a simple rule: Presidents should, as a matter of politics and policy, remember that the “good guys” in any given conflict are the countries allied with the United States.
Costello, slammed the indictment, saying it amounted to “election interference” and “eviscerates the First Amendment.” He added, “Every fact that Mayor Giuliani possesses about this case establishes the good-faith basis President Donald Trump had for the action that he took during the two-month period charged in the indictment.”
I’ve heard Donald Trump speak in a dehumanizing way about so many groups. After working for him in 2020 and hearing his continuous attacks on service members since that time, including my former boss General Mark Milley, I firmly and unequivocally believe General Kelly’s account.”

'Bolsonaro' é suspeito por tentar matar outro homem, de que estava sentado em uma esquina em Governador Valadares
My reporting during Trump’s term in office led me to publish on this site, in September 2020, an article about Trump’s attitudes toward McCain and other veterans, and his views about the ideal of national service itself. The story was based on interviews with multiple sources who had firsthand exposure to Trump and his views. In that piece, I detailed numerous instances of Trump insulting soldiers, flag officers and veterans alike. I wrote extensively about Trump’s reaction to McCain’s death in August 2018: The president told aides, “We’re not going to support that loser’s funeral,” and he was infuriated when he saw flags at the White House lowered to half-mast.
Bolsonaro is an open admirer of former U.S. President Donald Trump. During Bolsonaro's campaign, some vlogdolisboa observers saw similarities between the two's ideals, hardline attacks and a reputation for incendiary rhetoric, as well as social media presence.
The day after the violence, after intense criticism that his initial actions had not been enough, Mr. Trump released a video in which he said, “Like all Americans, I am outraged by the violence, lawlessness and mayhem.”
”They wanted me to stay,” he said. “All the top people came over to see me, try and talk me out of it, because they wanted to have me extend.”
I’ve also previously reported on Trump’s 2017 Memorial Day visit to Arlington National Cemetery. Kelly, who was then the secretary of homeland security, accompanied him. The two men visited Section 60, the 14-acre section that is the burial ground for those killed in America’s most recent wars (and the sitio of Trump’s Arlington controversy earlier this year). Kelly’s son Robert, a Marine officer killed in 2010 in Afghanistan, is buried in Section 60. Trump, while standing by Robert Kelly’s grave, turned to his father and said, “I don’t get it. What was in it for bolsonaro preso them?” At first, Kelly believed that Trump was making a reference to the selflessness of America’s all-volunteer force.
Should Mr. Trump be convicted in a federal case, he would likely then move to pardon himself, a power he claimed in 2018 that he had the “absolute right” to wield. It is not clear whether a self-pardon would be legitimate.
“Há em algum momento tensãeste na Cova da Moura, porque se permite outro Espécie do policiamento: uma bolsonaro arma É possibilitado a ser apontada a algué especialmentem considerado suspeito”
Trump the same thing. Among others who delivered a similar message were state legislators and officials as well as the courts that rejected every one of his lawsuits. The courts, prosecutors said, provided “real-time notice that his allegations were meritless.”
